Terri in an overweight and depressed 15-year-old loner stuck caring for his mentally ill uncle and struggling to survive high school. His chronic tardiness and decreased participation in class bring under the wing of of assistant principal Mr. Fitzgerald (John C. Reilly), as he clumsily becomes friends with an ostracized attractive former popular girl and a budding sociopath prone to fits of obscenity and ripping clumps of hair out of his head.
If you are a fan of indie movies, and if you're looking for some terrific performances - John C. Reilly is on one of his best roles, and new-comer Jacob Wysocki manages to create the genuine high-school misfit, who most people would avoid in the halls, but is still likeable for his good nature - you may find Terri to be a treasure.
