The Mule is an Australian dark comedy-drama, based on a true story, directed by Angus Sampson and Tony Mahony.
In 1983 Australia, a first time, not too bright drug mule is detained by Federal Police while trying to smuggle lethal narcotics into Australia from Thailand in his stomach. After being apprehended he makes a desperate choice and attempts to contain himself and withhold the evidence for as long as humanly possible. The police have almost two weeks to wait out Ray, but he's more determined to hold back the 20 condoms he swallowed, than they could have ever imagined.
