"Some men are created evil."

A darkly comic Israeli revenge thriller, hailed by Quentin Tarantino as one of "the best film of the year."

After the alleged perpetrator of the rape and beheading of a young girl is released due to some sort of police blunder, the police officer who arrested him and the father of the girl kidnap him and take him to a basement where they torture him to try to extract a confession. What then plays out, is, by turns, gripping, hilarious, sick, and never less than clever, as director duo Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado expertly balance nastiness with scenes of blackly comic hilarity.

Plot summary from IMDb: A series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision course: The father of the latest victim now out for revenge, a vigilante police detective operating outside the boundaries of law, and the main suspect in the killings - a religious studies teacher arrested and released due to a police blunder.
